Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
The game's makers drew inspiration from gangster movies like Carlito's Way and Scarface. The Miami Vice series and several other movies also had a big impact on the game. There are numerous allusions to them throughout the game.

The world of crime, mafia conflicts, contract assassinations, and drug trafficking that GTA Vice City immerses the player in is depicted with a good bit of comedy, sometimes rather dark, and grotesquerie. The game is set in the 1980s, and automobile stereos play the appropriate music by well-known musicians: Music by bands and artists like Motley Crue, Electric Light Orchestra, Judas Priest, REO Speedwagon, Ozzy Osbourne, and Michael Jackson is played on Vice City radio. Miami served as the model for Vice City. There are numerous lovely beaches in this city, which is encircled by the sea. It is divided into multiple islands, each of which has avenues lined with opulent mansions with pricey automobiles parked next to them as well as impoverished regions with shantytowns.
Compared to Grand Theft Auto 3, the characters in Grand Theft Auto Vice City are more colorful, and the protagonist is mute. Ray Liotta, who has acted in movies including "Goodfellas" and "Cocaine," provided the voice of Tommy. Liotta won Best Male Voice Acting at G4's G-Phoria Awards for his highly praised work on Vice City. William Fichtner, widely known for his portrayal of Alexander Mahone on Prison Break, provides the voice of Ken Rosenberg. View the list of every character in the game as well.

When it comes to story missions, it is impossible to ignore the fact that they are now more difficult than they were in the previous game. Simple tasks might alternate with challenging missions that involve chases on various modes of transportation that result in shootouts.
There are 101 transportation units in the game, including six motorcycles, ten boats and yachts, seven helicopters, and airplanes. Driving cars and other vehicles—as well as stealing these same vehicles—remains a major part of the game.
GTA Vice City is trying to overtake its predecessor in everything: there are many more opportunities; you can buy suits in clothing stores; buildings appear that you can enter; there are eateries where you can eat (unlike the later San Andreas, where food affected the state of the protagonist’s figure and was a natural need, here food only restores health lost in firefights). The option to buy real estate is one of the intriguing aspects; the hero can purchase both residential structures and profitable companies.
Rockstar employed a more recent version of Criterion Games' RenderWare game engine, which made the game more technologically complex. Higher-quality textures and models have made the graphics more pleasing, and the engine has been optimized and much improved. Graphical elements like the sun's glint on a virtual camera were developed, and the developers' sunsets will likely live on in the memories of players who first encountered the Grand Theft Auto game series with Vice City.
The most visually striking game in the series is also Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Following the third section's gloomy design, the developers employed vibrant colors to create a cozy resort town ambiance. It's odd, but it appears like the developers are doing the same thing with Grand Theft Auto 5, where the melancholy of GTA 4 is replaced with vibrant hues.
